Hon. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful Storms Legon Campus

The Minister of Communications, Hon. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, will on Saturday, 4th November, 2017 have an interactive session with students of the University of Ghana (UG), Legon at this year's Women's Conference to be held at the R.S Amegashie auditorium.

The conference, organised by the Women's Commission of the Graduate Students' Association of Ghana (GRASAG) - UG chapter is under the theme: "Nation-Building: The Role of the Graduate Woman".

Hon. Owusu-Ekuful will join other resource persons to speak on various topics like Leadership, Women in Politics and Entrepreneurship. Focus Group discussions will be held on societal topical issues such as sexual violence ad harassment, teenage pregnancy and child marriage.

In addition, free breast screening exercise will be held for all students.

Other resource persons include Hon. Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei (Deputy Minister of Information), Professor Akosua Adomako Ampofo (Senior Lecturer, African Studies, UG), Kosi Yankey (Executive Director, NBSSI), Esther Armah (International Journalist, Lecturer, Columnist-B&FT), Daniel Osei Tuffour (Executive Director, ExLA Group) and Asmau Ayub (Psychologist & Executive Director for Rayuwa foundation).
