The Executives of the Graduate Students Association of Ghana (GRASAG) National have expressed their dissatisfaction with the Scholarships Secretariat in relation to the payment of bursary and thesis grant to graduate students for 2016/2017 academic year.

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has disclosed that the Finance Ministry has released Ghs14, 172, 313.23 to settle salary arrears for validated teachers engaged between 2013 and 2016.

According to the official website for Ghana TV licensing, the TV license fee will be used to provide studio classrooms for students in deprived areas across the country.

“Provide Studio Class Rooms for BECE and WAECE students across the nation, to enable students in deprived schools to also access quality education,” stated on the website as one of the benefits and reasons for paying the TV Licence Fee.
